Digimon Adventure Trioby ~PANattheDisco

It's August 1st. For fans of Digimon Adventure, it's "Odaiba Memorial Day" -- a day to remember the series that had such a dramatic impact on our hearts and imaginations. I figured what better way to celebrate the memory of Digimon this year than to upload a Digimon cosplay photo. :3

From left to right in this photo is my friend Becky as Yamato "Matt" Ishida, my friend Sakura as Sora Takenouchi, and myself as Taichi "Tai" Yagami.

Taichi was one of my dream costumes. I made it in the spring of 2006. In the summer of 2008, my friend Sakura volunteered to cosplay Sora and we made her costume together. At the last minute, we roped Becky into being Matt, and Becky and I made her entire costume (wig and all) in a record-breaking five hours. Our costumes were a group effort, and I am thrilled with how they came out~

I grew up a huuuuge Digimon fan. I watched the series religiously, ran a website and everything. Having a first season Digimon group was a dream for me, so when it finally happened, I was on cloud nine!

I guess this is my way of saying: DIGIMON FOREVER! <3
